Act Now: Your Year-End Donation Matters

Imagine a future where both ME/CFS and Long COVID are no longer debilitating conditions. Imagine the challenges in understanding, diagnosing, and finding effective treatments are a thing of the past. At Open Medicine Foundation Canada (OMFCA), we’re committed to turning that future into a reality.

Thanks to the unwavering support of our community, we’ve made significant strides. We have raised over $49 million USD and funded 58 projects to date. These projects have resulted in 28 publications, and many more are on the horizon!

Your support is not just valuable; it’s essential to bringing this vision to life. Make your end-of-year donation today and be part of our global effort to bring millions back to health.

In 2023 alone, you helped us make the following possible:

  • Over 36 active research projects currently underway. These projects span various aspects of medical research, and each one holds the potential to make a significant impact in advancing our understanding of ME/CFS and Long COVID.
  • Medical education that is increasing awareness, improving diagnosis, and fostering a more empathetic approach towards those suffering from these conditions. Through our Medical Education Resource Center (MERC), in partnership with Bateman Horne Center, we have already reached thousands of healthcare providers.
  • OMF’s StudyME Registry: A global participant registry. OMF’s StudyME Registry is a recruitment tool to connect individuals interested in participating in research studies of ME/CFS and Long COVID with the researchers conducting them.
  • Clinical Trials: We are launching our first clinical trial, The Life Improvement Trial (LIFT). This trial will help us gather critical data on treatment responses and lay the groundwork for a robust clinical trial infrastructure for additional clinical trials in the coming years.

As we look to the new year, your donation isn’t just a gift; it’s a lifeline to millions. It’s a commitment to a future where no one has to miss out on life’s precious moments due to ME/CFS or Long COVID. It’s a step towards a world where these conditions are fully understood, effectively treated, and ultimately cured.

Let us welcome 2024 with the promise of new possibilities, scientific discovery, and victories in our journey towards a brighter and healthier future. With each passing day, we are closer to achieving our goal, thanks to the unwavering commitment of supporters like you.

Thank you for being a part of our OMFCA Family.

Hold on to the HOPE,
