OMF’s StudyME, powered by StudyPages, is a recruitment tool to connect individuals interested in participating in research studies with the researchers conducting them.
Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for individuals affected by ME/CFS, Long Covid, Fibromyalgia, and other post-infection illnesses by expediting research in these areas and increasing awareness by showing how many people are waiting for a cure.
Signing up is easy and takes less than five minutes. All you need to do is provide your contact details and specify your areas of interest. Once you’ve done this, we’ll send you email notifications whenever there are research opportunities that align with your interests to potentially participate in surveys, laboratory studies, or treatment trials.
StudyME can bridge the gap between ME/CFS researchers and ME/CFS patients so there is stronger collaboration, allowing both parties to learn from each other and evolve their understanding of the illness.
Researchers are interested in individuals suffering from specific illnesses as well as healthy individuals who can act as “controls” or reference points. Thus, even if you are in good health, we encourage you to sign up for OMF’s StudyME to support patient communities and promote scientific research.
Please note that each study will have specific eligibility criteria set by the researchers themselves. Our role is simply to connect interested participants with research teams to accelerate progress in these areas.
No personal medical information is required! All that is needed is your contact information and areas of research interest, and you’re all set. Contact StudyME@omf.ngo with questions.

Please note that by registering for StudyME, you are opting in to receive email communications from Open Medicine Foundation (OMF) regarding research studies that match your interests. These studies may be conducted by third parties (like universities or doctors) that are not affiliated with nor funded by OMF as well as OMF funded studies.
The safety and scientific validity of each study is the sole responsibility of the study sponsor and investigators. The listing of a study does not imply that it has been evaluated, verified, or endorsed by OMF.
The information on OMF’s StudyME is provided by study sponsors and investigators, and they are responsible for ensuring that their study follows all applicable laws and regulations in the study location. StudyME participants are responsible for doing their own due diligence to make sure that a research study that they wish to be a part of follows the local laws in the location where they reside, including, but not limited to, the protection of medical records, data privacy, expert supervision, etc.
It is important to consider all options before deciding to participate in a study and it is recommended that individuals speak with their healthcare provider to determine if it is appropriate for them. StudyME is simply listing opportunities for research studies. Applying for a research study does not guarantee acceptance to participate; acceptance is solely up to the investigator of that particular study.
